"Working with a regional events manager who brings together skills and experience from the events industry together with knowledge of funding, venues and other contacts has been brilliant in enabling us to bring new and existing events to the region.  Before this year we had none in the area and now we are looking at 3 events for 2006 alone, Lindsey has made the South East a very attractive and welcoming destination for our events.  In the build up to 2012 we hope to work closely with the Major Sports Events Manager to explore the options that will exist in hosting international as well as national events in the coming years."
