The South East Science, Engineering and Technology Advisory Council (SESETAC)

The South East Science, Engineering and Technology Advisory Council (SESETAC) advises on how science and innovation can drive up regional business performance. Membership includes leaders from, business, academia and the public sector. In response to UK Government's Science and Innovation Policy the Council has worked with SEEDA to develop a regional Innovation Action Plan. New initiatives have been launched to realise the full potential of the region's world class knowledge base through increasing knowledge transfer between business and universities, helping firms innovate and ensuring a supply of scientifically trained people needed for tomorrow's economy.
