ready2invest South East, managed by Finance South East, is a development programme for new and would-be business angels in unquoted companies or for those simply looking to refresh their knowledge.
The programme provides individuals with the necessary skills and information through a workshop based approach which incorporates direct experience from practised investors and advice from professionals. It covers issues such as the Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS), legal considerations and forming syndications. After the workshop, business angels receive ongoing advice and mentoring from experienced investors.
Free awareness events and workshops at £50 per person are held regularly across the region.
