A new business centre developed by the South East England Development Agency (SEEDA) providing some 1400 sq m of small units of between 11.6 and 32.6 sq m, specifically targeted at new and starter businesses. Units are available on flexible 'easy-in, easy-out' licenses. Home to the Adur Enterprise Gateway, which provides on site business support.

The Adur Business Centre, Shoreham by Sea, West Sussex

Since its launch in July 2006, the Adur Business Centre has been providing space to start up and growing companies. In partnership with centre management company GWE Workspace, SEEDA has developed the business centre so that it is now a considerable success and home to companies in a variety of fields, including the construction, financial and clothing sectors. The centre is part of SEEDA's award winning Ropetackle site, in Shoreham by Sea, which demonstrates high standards of sustainability.

The Adur Enterprise Gateway is based on site and is available to provide help, advice and support to new and growing businesses.

The centre provides high quality space, on site management and support, meeting room facilities, and flexible lease terms.

The establishment of the Adur Business Centre provides much needed new business space in Shoreham by Sea.

The objectives are to:

  • Provide flexible workspace for small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and a sustainable support network.
  • Increase the start up, survival and growth rates of businesses in the area.
  • Promote a culture of entrepreneurship and innovation
  • Contribute to the regeneration of the Adur region
