Definition of waste: development industry code of practice training workshop and launch.

At this event CL:AIRE (Contaminated Land: Applications in Real Environments) will announce the launch of the updated Definition of Waste: Development Industry Code of Practice (CoP) which already delivers cost, time, social and environmental benefits to those dealing with excavated site materials in greenfield, brownfield and contaminated land sites.

This event will provide training for those involved in the development industry who are interested in gaining a greater understanding of this CoP and how it might be applied to future projects. Case studies will be presented which will show how the CoP has already been used to achieve significant savings and other benefits on projects through re-use on the site of origin and Cluster projects.

An overview of the extended scope of CoP version 2 will also be given, including the opportunity of questions and answer sessions with all presenters.

Date: 30 March 2011
Time: 09.30am to 4.00pm
